'Expression Kind Divert the Mind'

This patch box is from about 1790 and was made in South Staffordshire. The mirror inside is aged as one would expect but the top is in good condition and the corrugated base has been cleaned up. The s and f in expression were interchangeable at this time and the sentiment is as always, beautiful.
